So it begins.
Nov. 29th, 2012 10:24 pmThe attack of parade of tiny hats has begun! Many thanks to
diermuid, who managed kitchen clean-up tonight so I could devote some time and energy to working out the "pattern" and cranking out the first few. Yay!
In approximately 90 minutes of wildly unfocused effort, I got set up, did some measuring, experimented with dimensions, backtracked once or twice, borked and un-borked the bobbin tension, constructed *5* tiny hats, and got everything put away. I'm confident -- now that I've got the method worked out -- I can easily do about 8-10 in a given hour of work. Especially if I'm not running around the house and making everybody look at these adorable little hats, will you.
ETA: Tiny hats!

Date: 2012-11-30 03:08 pm (UTC)ETA: It's just a jar of cocoa mix, you know? Even though it's a tiny and inexpensive gift, I want the people receiving these to also feel like they're getting a little bundle of delight. That's the idea, anyway. I think it's maybe going to work out just fine.
