wish list

In anticipation of (eventual) gall bladder surgery and subsequent drug-addled recovery, I think I should assemble something of a "mindless drivel" viewing list. Here's what I've got on the wish list so far:

Any suggestions? I do not expect to be able to focus on a BOOK. It might also happen that I will spend some obsessive amounts of time on Pinterest for home decor and recipes that will perhaps not lead to icky digestive consequences.

You will not regret 21 Jump Street. I even watched the freaking commentary.

Just looking at your Tumblr link has me so full of happy!

And there were so many gif sets I found that I didn't include in that collection.

Shit, I might just have to watch it again this week.

I second the 21 Jump Street recommendation. If you like horror movies, and would appreciate a movie that takes the genre and smacks it around a bit, I can also recommend Cabin In The Woods.

I am an unrepentant coward. No horror movies for this girl, but I'll pass the rec along for those in my family who *do* like them!

PS, would laughing while recovering from tummy surgery be undesirable?

If memories of my tubal ligation are any indication, there will be some soreness, but laughter won't be too bad. Not to be gross or anything, but I'll have a lot of belly gas to release anyway. Maybe laughter will work that stuff out? Er. Or something. :)

Hrm. My netflix queue of comedies suggests God Bless America (political, duh), Fido (zombies), The Big Lebowski, and The Trip (British foodies/travelogue).

Heal up!
