saffronhareFionaPie turns eleven years old today. She had a pretty gonzo weekend -- got to see Hunger Games with her daddy; rocked the soccer field with two hard-won games; went shopping at her favorite store in the whole world (Justice); and even made her own cookies to bring in to school today. diermuid in the kitchen. Not sure how HELPFUL he was...
I got to visit with some folks at Gaia yesterday afternoon. It was nice to see so many of the people I'd known back when I was pregnant with Fiona. Very odd to be reminded how I went into labor during ritual -- it was Easter Sunday that year. Time felt very...um, circular for a moment, there.
She continues to take on the world with all the good humor and speed of a Jackie Chan action sequence. So glad to be along for the ride!
