I said to Mother Nature, who was threatening rain, "Hey, I'll keep up with the weeding and mulching until it rains, okay?" And Mother Nature said, "OK!" And then it DID NOT RAIN. About 90 minutes and 30 bags of mulch later, I was all done. Well, done enough. No more mulch and no more daylight. I had mulch in my BRA, people, and I'm SO HAPPY. Very nice to have dirt under my nails again. The roses are EPIC already. And now I've had a shower and put on my pretty flowered bloomers. Eventually,
diermuid will be home and then everything will be super. :)
ETA: It's the first night in I don't know how long that I've been able to ease into the bedtime hour, getting everything done in good time and all that. But now, all I can do is wander around the house not wanting to go to bed. Thankfully, Benadryl will hit my system soon...and nobody is doing much online, so I don't have many distractions. :)
ALSO: This is what I get for staying up too late. I just watched a mouselike critter *bounce* up the last few stairs to the second floor of the house. Freaking out here. No way am I going upstairs to look for it. Dear heavens. I wonder if I can float back to the bedroom so my feet don't have to touch the floor?
