fionnabhar had a point about this boot. It must be a sinister plot among doctors, to say, "Sure, you can do just about anything you like with the boot on. Just don't go running!" And then they leave the room, giggling behind their clipboards.
Because no, a person CAN'T do just about anything they like with the boot on. Not really. Because it's heavy like a cinderblock (okay, maybe that's exagerrating) and clumsy likewhoa. Most of the day is kind of a struggle...and by the end of the day, I don't want to do ANYTHING. So exhausting and frustrating. And, while it protects my hurty foot, the lugging and limping hurts the rest of my body.
Doing my best to be a patient patient here, to comply and all that crap. GAH. I think I will console myself by taking some time over the lunch break to compile a chore list for the rest of the family. Since they're all home now. Mostly.
