notice to the Coatl's godparents

The Coatl (aka Princess Sticky) is in high form today. She has started coloring all over Princess Boredom's "patron poster" (from KidSpace -- it's Hellenic); siezed two putty knives and trotted around the house waving them in the air; and begun speaking French (mon bot' seems to mean "my bottle").

All this before 9:30 a.m. Already, I am not keeping up, wildly incompetent houseparen that I seem to be today.

I am on my own for the next several hours. [livejournal.com profile] zylch will not be home until about 5 p.m. and [livejournal.com profile] agrnmn will not be home until about 10:30 p.m.

If you, or another compassionate local adult, would like to stop by for maybe an hour as a public safety measure, that would be swell. We might go patrol the neighborhood on this lovely day for a bit, but otherwise we'll be hanging in or around the homestead.

Honestly? More children would do very little to reduce the craziness. You're awesome to offer -- and I'd say yes if eldest daughter were home...and bored...

What I'm looking for is a little dose of non-breeder conversation. :)

Enjoy the picnic!

naw i was thinking of stopping over without the kids. but it's all good. figured you'd be too stressed out to add more kids so didn't plan on it. mac mentioned it but at the time it was after 5 and i figured it'd all be good at that time.

Yerk, wish we'd seen this earlier. We were out and about most of the day, and really not going to be much help (after RFB, half of us came back here and took a power nap), but we could have at least offered amoral support.

Glad things are under control at last.
