Report to the Department of Slack

I have worked 60+ hours/week for the past few weeks (more, if you count the hours I spent griping and worrying at home). But this week has been different. No, the work load hasn't decreased. I'm just coming to terms better with my 15% failure rate (meaning the amount of work I have to resign myself to not getting done each day). Hint: the trick is to rotate where that 15% falls.


Anyway. Yesterday, I left a little before 5 p.m. Today, I took a 1-hour lunch with my family...and I'll also leave at about 5 p.m. so I can go with them to the airport to see off Princess Boredom on her journey to Poppy Camp.

Amazing how downgrading to two kids can feel like a vacation. ::happy dance::

I am also about to go play a round of Word Poker. That is, if I can remember my login and if my neopet hasn't taken out a contract on me. Any suggestions about further slack I should enjoy this evening or tomorrow evening?

Note: agrnmn works tonight, and has a KidSpace meeting tomorrow evening.

If you wish to exit the house, with or without agrnmn, I will happily keep the place from burning down.

Other than that, there's steaming (not technically slack, but therapeutic), or movies, or sitting around doing nothing (which is what I've been doing most of today). You could read a Danielle Steele novel, perhaps, or do handstands. I'm sure something will be figured out.

Heh, you could read my next journal entry (about to be typed) and help me write a reply to this guy. That could be funny indeed.
