Busy week ahead.

saffronhareThis has been a pretty lovely weekend, even through the twisted lens of a headache finally fading away a couple of hours ago.
Saturday featured a volunteer shift at Harvesters with the girls, plus starting the younger girls on their first bit of sewing. (They learned how to thread a needle and started practicing some straight stitches.) On Sunday, I visited the eye doctor to order some new glasses, and then we shampooed the carpet as well as the dog.
Planning out the week now, and it looks to be plenty busy. I'm working at my freelance gig (on site) in the mornings; afternoons will be given over to making phone calls, updating my portfolio, and taking care of some medical/dental appointments before my benefits get confusing with COBRA and all that. Lots of faxing and mailing and online paperwork to complete, too, so I'd better get my printer/scanner up and running this week!
