For Sale: like-new bodhran
Oct. 18th, 2009 09:25 pmUPDATE: Sold to the pretty lady who is also named Nikki. :)
I've had this Waltons "Real Irish Bodhran" for several years now and never really used it. Rosewood frame with leather; drumskin undamaged; not tunable, but has a very pleasant and resonant sound (to my admittedly non-musical ears, anyway). Original striker (probably not the best in the world) included.
It should really go to somebody who will actually *play* it, you know? Instruments are not meant to be stored on closet shelves for years on end. Not sure what to ask for it...I'm not likely to be picky, but would rather sell it than give it away.
Please feel free to make a friendly offer, and/or pass the news along.
