This seemed like a great picture to use for a Yaylist today. The bit you might not be able to discern is how she colored the heart on a separate sheet of paper, then cut it out and glued it on, collage-like. She gave it to me over the weekend, and I thought it was wonderful. Is it not wonderful? :)

Today's Yaylist

• Friends at work who will scan kid art for me.


• Sunshine streaming through the skylight, and overnight temps perfect for sleeping with the window open.


• Getting to go see Rowie in her second of two One-Act plays tonight (agrnmn got to see her in the first one last night).


• Finally figuring out the ideal walking speed for when Jack is on the leash. He does beautifully when I walk briskly; not so great when I walk at a more leisurely pace. Good to know...and an excellent preview of walking buddy times.


• Needing to wear a belt with my pants today.


I'm sure there's more, but that's about all I can summon for the moment. Gotta run!
