House of Plague and Snot

saffronhareWell, Rowie seems to have been hammered by something. She was sniffling yesterday morning; last night, she was congested and sort of bleh; by the time she got home from school this afternoon, she was complaining of a headache and general body aches...sore throat and continuing head congestion...and a fever.
YAY.
We'll be undertaking whatever interventions can help her be less miserable (both within herself and with the rest of us!) and generally doing what we can to stave off doom for the remainder of the household. Also, watching very carefully for complications with her asthma.
Naturally, none of us has been able to even get our regular flu shots yet, nevermind the more exotic vaccinations for bacon flu, but it's not for lack of trying!
I've been very pre-occupied of late, with excessive work demands. Now, it'll get even BETTER. Please expect even less of me than usual for a little while. We'll be limiting unnecessary contact with the outside world. (sigh)
