Fundraiser for Fiona's Gymnastics Team

saffronhareBack walkovers on the balance beam? Check. Flyaway dismounts from the uneven bars? Checkity-check. Vaults that make her parents flinch? OMG check!
There's a lot that Fiona has under control, when it comes to gymnastics. But what she can't do is pull money out of her...um, sparkly leotard...to help the team travel and compete in some regional meets this year. They'll be traveling to cover themselves in gym chalk in exotic locales such as Bartlesville, OK...Omaha, NE...and somewhere in Iowa (purportedly the home gym of Shawn!Johnson!). Maybe even Texas, if we get really crazy.
So there's a fundraiser! Every little bit helps. SRSLY. It's mostly magazine subscription stuff -- you can renew subscriptions you might already have, or check out new ones -- and a few other interesting things like BOOKS and MUSIC. (If I know you reallyreally well, I probably sent you an email about this. Please to forgive the repetitious redundancy.)

Fiona's participant code is TUR2, but that won't come up until you're checking out.
I'm pretty impressed with the percentage of the purchase that goes directly back to the gym: a full 40%, which is pretty astounding in terms of cost per dollar raised for this sort of thing. (Of course, if you want to make a contribution directly to the Sweaty Little Girls Gymnastics Fund at Elite -- no, seriously, I'd have you write the check to them and not me -- then I sure won't turn you down!)
Please consider doing what you can? It's a relatively short turn-around, and for that I apologize. The deadline is allegedly August 31st, but it's possible there will be an extension. If you'd rather place an order the old-fashioned way, then please let me know and I'll get a form to you.
