random endorsements!

saffronhareThis week, I am having adventures! Sort of. For me, anyway. So now, I enthusiastically endorse products and services about which I know almost nothing.
Nail polish pens. I can't remember where or when I heard about these nifty little things, but I saw them in CVS over the weekend and I decided to Buy One and Try It. Now, my fingernails are a lovely crimson-ish color. It was so easy, I decided to wash dishes right away, so some of it would wear off and I'd have to paint my nails again this evening. (sigh) Very convenient for a manicure-impaired personl like myself. Not a lot of colors to choose from just yet -- there was clear, a couple of pinks, a neutral, and a couple of reds -- really...I don't buy nail polish that often, so it's not like I felt like there was a lack of options.
Blue Koi. We went for a creative department "birthday lunch" there this afternoon and YUM. Lots of new flavors and tastes. I drank mango bubble tea and it was weirdly delicious. There was sort of a fried shimp pancake quesadilla-type thing, with sauce in a dish that I could have licked. Also, I accidentally got a SPICY! pork noddle dish instead of the not-spicy one I'd ordered. Not having been to the restaurant before, I figured I'd just mis-ordered and thought, hey, adventure! But then, when I'd soldiered through about a quarter of this HUGE dish, they brought me a new one. Er. It *was* a much more pleasant kind of taste for me, but yeesh. Lunch at work is so totally set for the next couple of days with those leftovers!
