This post constitutes your payoff for paying attention to my post last week that bemoaned my oath to embracing the ridiculous and supporting decisions of other people who are trying to come into their own power.

Yesterday, thanks to Lady Phaedra on the CUUPS website, yours truly was the Queen of Fluffy Bunnies. Literally. That was my name. I had bunny ears and a pink cottontail and a tiara. I giggled and bounced and clapped my hands with delight. I even referred to myself as the "cutest ever."*

And now I have a hangover of sorts. I fell asleep on the couch at 8:15 p.m., and

agrnmn trundled me off to bed at 9:00 p.m. (I think). I didn't get up until almost 8:00 a.m. (after having slept through the alarm for more than 30 minutes) and feel as if I could crawl back into the flannel and sleep for another day or so.

And my body hurts -- a lot. The corset was a piece o'cake, but I'm so unaccustomed to stepping as mincingly as those adorable little sandals required me to.

All in all, it was good. Piety can be such a burden.

If you know me, you understand that this was more difficult than channeling Aset (no offense intended to Her at all).

okay, where did you get bunny ears cause i've been looking forever and it's driving me nuts! anyway, sounds like a blust. the UU is awesome.

One of the Bunny Court got them at Michael's (a crafty story, which I think is nationwide chain). For our cottontails, she got fluffy maribou boas and bundled them up in loose knots. Different-colored maribou boas were also used to line some of the ears with fluffier "fur." I've heard there are pictures, which I will hunt down and destroy.

Were you asking about Aset? Or the bunny-ness? I don't understand.

I specifically asked the team to refer to me as "Queen of the Fluffy Bunnies" rather than the Fluffy Bunny Goddess. I am so sore from embracing all that ridiculousness. Please -- will somebody come read some Hegel or Kant to me?

As for Aset, she's not my patroness. She just thinks I'm fun. She and Andraste (who is a patroness) probably know each other, so Andraste may "loan me out" once in a while...

I was actually referring to the QOTFB/FBG; I don't think I could continue to maintain such close ties to you if Aset was a patroness.

It was more a (mostly) joking jab at your tendency to acquire new patrons after big rituals...and the humorous side-effects of TQOTFB, Andraste, and Artemis sitting down together...
