True story!
Apr. 20th, 2009 01:37 pmIt seems my handwriting has magical fundraising properties. Over the last couple of years, we've tested appeals involving messages printed in typeface versus my handwriting; in other people's handwriting versus my handwriting; and in handwriting "font" versus my handwriting. Apparently, I win all the time...we're talking case study magnitude here.
But still, the company won't pay to convert my handwriting into a font, affordable though it may be, which would allow us to *customze* the handwritten message. What we do now is have me write it, and then write it, and then we laser it on as if it were a piece of art. Ha.
Sort of strange, but there you go. So now I get to spend a large part of my afternoon scribbling to get something lovely and consistent enough to scan in.

Date: 2009-04-20 06:52 pm (UTC)(I just found the/a site that allows you to convert your handwriting into a font - very cool, and exceedingly reasonable in price).
(blush) Thank you.
