beatonna, a namesake. Also, a Candadian and creator of clever historical webcomics, who has a very adorable way of using exclamation points.
My father's family came to New England by way of Nova Scotia (where his French relatives experienced [a friendliness] with the Huron Indians, probably because both cultures were badass -- or bastardly, depending on your perspective -- and then they all [got along well with] the Scots), so I have a little fantasy world in which I am related to this person named Kate. How's that for an awkward sentence?
