Holiday Groove

saffronhareMy happy thing today is SomaFM's Christmas Lounge, which is playing on my computer here at work right now.
See, I like to have a bit of music in the background while I work. The mild groove (of Groove Salad, usually) helps me tune out distractions without being a distraction of its own. I don't really have to Pay Attention to it the way I do if I have Pandora running, you know? (Plus, lots less bandwidth.) And lots of these are instrumental versions of my favorite tunes, too! Even less distraction and more groove per measure. Or something like that.
I'm a sucker for old-fashioned holiday music...so it's been a nice treat these last few days.
