Bunny = banjaxed.
Nov. 6th, 2008 02:35 pmI called this afternoon, as part of my bun-acquisition homework, to find out whether my apartment management's policies considered a bunny to be more like a guinea pig or more like a cat. (I mean, I know they're more like cats and dogs in terms of family interaction, but the policy position makes a difference for the pet deposit required, etc.)
Turns out, bunnies are verboten -- as are guinea pigs and other pets not in the Top Four (dogs, cats, birds, fish). ::iz sad::
SHIT. Well. Glad I asked before I got too much further down the road. I'll have to let the girls know right away...before they get their hopes too much higher. In the short term, perhaps I can "sponsor" the fostering or adoption of bunny and generally keep learning. The pressure will be ON to consider adopting a doggie. Yargh.
