random pining

I'd really like to be able to do some sewing this fall and winter. With a little bit of cleverness, I might find a way to set up a sewing area that can just stay set up for a chunk of time (though a permanent space isn't really practical). That way, I can work on something an hour or so at a time, which is a BIG change from how I've needed to do it over the last few years.

Achieving closure on some of the items in my Museum of Unfinished Projects would be lots of fun and clear out a good amount of closet space at the same time! I have some garbing promises to keep. :)

Edit: And get this -- the introvert thinks she maybe needs to get out more. There are lots of people and things that I'm missing a lot these days.

Museum of Unfinished Projects

I have quite the collection myself. Somedays, I feel the need to finish one, but then what would I do with all those empty bins and craft drawers? Would be such a waste of space...

If you'd like to do a group outing with [livejournal.com profile] adammaker, keep me in the loop. Of course, that means I need to find a way to KC, but! Do-able. Post-faire, of course.

Yes, of course. Gah.

I keep forgetting that Adam has moved closer! That sounds like fun. I'll be at faire this Sunday, a-serving at the beer booth. :)

I'll try to look for you! There's a lot of beer booths, and I'm not sure which is the Gorilla one.

It was booth #320, facing Dunwoodie Dell (I think I had the best seats for Queen's Gambit!). I'll be out again on Sunday, October 5th. Hope your day went well...sorry we missed seeing each other. :(

I'm sorry, I never saw you and I'm in Dunwoodie Dell most of the time! Rats. I even glanced in that booth a couple times, but only saw the two guys working.

BOO HISS.

See you in October, then!

Ah, well. I might not have recognized you anyway. We weren't crazy-busy, but we were busy enough that I rarely focused on whatever was happening more than 15' from the booth. And I'm short, so it's no wonder you didn't see me behind the counter! It was great fun, though. :)
