The Semantic Circuit

More wacky Prometheus Rising thoughts.

This is the first chapter I didn't have to keep re-reading because I kept thinking, "huh?" No, this one I kept re-reading because I kept thinking, "yes!" I make a good living because I have achieved a level of proficiency with this stuff. And anyone who paid attention to discussions of the Will classes/trances knows how closely my magical work is related to language and the naming of things.

I'm going to stop here for a while again to devote some actual time to these exercises -- trying not to think I've "tested out" of anything. I can't wait for the one where I'm supposed to get racing on caffeine, then "...find a victim and explain the universe to him or her, until they are able to escape..." Sounds like fun!

Later, I will no doubt agonize over whether I'm stuck here...and cower before I read about the next circuit -- Socio-Sexual. Yeah, that'll afflict me for sure.

I'll be adding this to the "to read" list.

Oh, come on!

After you finish the fourth-circuit chapter, you'll be able to identify which of your friends runs on which primary circuit... It'll be fun! (Bet you can guess which one I use...)

Of course it'll be fun. But that's fun gained from bringing the insight back to the 3rd circuit and assigning rationality to it, naming things and pointing fingers at others. It's the self-examination that's bound to be a bit uncomfortable. (Holding a mirror at that angle is awkward, you know. And I have to wear my contacts for it.)
