Counting down

Tick-tock, baby. Tick-tock.

21 days until the end of school (14 actual days of school)
37 days until moving
45 days until Poppy Camp
60 days until I get to put my feet in the ocean

Where are you moving to? Did you pick an apt/house/duplex/etc?

Yes, I've put a deposit down on an apartment. It's a bit south of where we are now, but still in the area. (Not gonna give more details on LJ.)

Cool! Totally understandable and not at all what I was asking. Didn't realize you had already picked and secured a place.

Yup. There's a pretty small window in which moving would be convenient, so I snagged it. The girls seem very relieved to know where we're going, and when.

you win. howvere, when i realized that my job would carry thru til ALMOST the edn of the shcool year i did do a happy dance ( a tired slow motion happy dance, but it was happy and i was dancing).

what ocean where? i'll be in Miami around my brithay and while i genrally eschew beach culture, i feel i have to spend some quality time in the salt and brine.

I'll be up in Rhode Island, so it won't exactly be warm there, but I'm looking forward to soaking up some saline, you know? I miss the big water, big time.

I totally understand the stately/tired happy dance. :)

Also: Your birthday = my birthday, so I'll think of you and maybe get a bit of an ocean fix by proxy.

Heh... must be cleaner Saline up there... the stuff at the mouth of the Delaware Bay (after running all the way along NJ cities) was less than ideal. So I'm less than nostalgic. 8-)

Delaware Bay = Yuck. This is pretty rough Atlantic Ocean beach, so not much gets a chance to be icky. It'll be cold as anything, and rocky and rough. ::sigh::

So you like it Rough and Rocky, eh?

That is a very different sort of LJ thread, Mac.
