saffronhareToday, Princess !Kaboom turns seven years old. She's filled with glee, dressed in a skirt, with her hair in a sparkly little ponytail. Homemade cookies with icing went to school today (well, as homemade as frozen cookie dough can be, though we made the icing from scratch); brownie bites are already in the car for sharing with her gymnastics teammates.

In other news...
On Thursday, Princess Pixie takes the stage for her first-ever dance recital, with her little ballet outfit and everything. The note says I should plan to bring a princess-sized bouquet of flowers to give her at the end of the show.
On Saturday,princessboredom competes in a solo vocal thing, about which I understand almost nothing. Then, on Sunday, she turns 14. She's already taking the online practice tests for her learner's permit. ::cowers in fear::
