It'll be all Druidy, right?

Looks like we're going to have three trees in the window this Christmas. See, [profile] diermuid has two trees and I brought one from my place. For the most part, they're all still in good shape, too. So. Instead of spending money on a new, huge tree for this year, we're going to set all three of them up! It lets us make use of what we've got, so we can save $$ for essentials and actual gifts. (I mean, seriously...$300 for a tree? I don't think so.)

The window in the front of the house is really large, so even my one pretty tall tree doesn't quite fill the space, and the other two trees are smaller. One of them may or may not be missing its base. We'll see. But what I *really* like about this way is how nobody will have to make difficult choices about which ornaments can go on the tree and which have to stay in boxes. Everyone in the family will have plenty of space for their favorite pieces to be displayed. Win-win, right?

UPDATE: Yes, one of the trees is missing a base. Hrm.

That's super! Hopefully it's still true, even though you're down one tree (pending base purchase/discovery).

I think we'll be fine with two trees. Really, we don't have the floor space for three, though it was a very entertaining idea. Testing a bazillions lights tonight; lights and decorating of trees will start tomorrow. The rest of the house is all be-decked now. :)
