Friday meme work

Found through [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale and [livejournal.com profile] triadruid, who (along with [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants) want to tattoo my car:

This week, I have mostly been:
Reading: a lot of email.
Playing: with my hair.
Researching: Hispanic marketing.
Writing: notes to school.
Applying: lipstick.
Making: an effort.
Being: too many people all at once.
Seeing: that, despite being a NerdSlut, I am not Wonder Woman.
Believing: that everything changes.
Planning: better meals.
Deciding: what to wear that is not boring but not too tight.
Pushing: clean laundry from one side of the bed to the other.
Wanting: sleep like a teenage boy wants sex.
Dreaming: about fairies and Margot Adler.
Watching: my kids grow every second (even when I don't watch).
Hoping: to have everyone healthy again soon.
Striving: for perfection (or at least excellence).
Enjoying: every chance to snuggle.
Pausing: the movie.

... and add your own verb and pass it on... mine is:
Taking: more of the time I need.

Oh. I so misread the line about "wanting sleep like a teenage boy wants sex". Ok. Yeah. Back to work.

Gotcha

Shall I even ask what the story behind this car-tattoing is, or do I not really want to know?

Car Tattooing

The car we've acquired to replace the Late Great Stinky Ford is *exactly* the same make/model/color of the car belonging to Jeff God of Biscuits. So...last night, there was discussion about how to distinguish the two cars. As the story goes:

First, a suggestion to use a golden apple (as in Discordia's test for Paris), but that was determined to be Too Risky an Invitation to Chaos. Then, they started talking about using pinstriping details to "inscribe" said car with ogham, perhaps specific phrases like, "These are not the Druids you're looking for." And so on.

I was asleep for the discussion, but look forward to getting some more details myself later this evening while planning Samhain with [livejournal.com profile] triadruid.
