Of course, some of them might seem compelling enough to me, now that I've forbidden myself to do them, that I'll rearrange other priorities so I can do them. (That's an old neurosis of mine, and we're friends.)
My list isn't quite as nifty as hers, but here goes...stolen from
featherynscale:
Top Five Really Nifty Things I'm Not Going To Do, Because I'm Already Too Damned Busy. (You can do them, though, if you like.)
1. Learn how to do dimensional beaded embroidery. It's sexy stuff, but I should probably get a bit better at other yarn-geeking and lace-making methods first.
2. Engage
ardgruntler in a conversation about the Seers Guild bylaws. I only need one set of bylaws in flux in my life at once, thankyouverymuch.
3. Pull up the kitchen floor, just to see what's underneath. (Okay, maybe only I think this would be a nifty thing to do, but it's my friggin' list.)
4. Get a puppy. Or two. Or just another dog. A scruffy one. (sigh)
5. Spend another ten minutes staring at this screen, trying to come up with one more clever thing just so I can finish the list. Ack. :)
