Grandparents sure mean business.
Dec. 18th, 2006 08:26 pmWell, I think my folks really mean it this time. They contracted with a seller's buyer's agent today. (Sheesh. Tired much?) Here we go!
As I understand it, Dad needs to finish out his academic year and find a new position out here before they can move. And they'll need to sell their own darn house. So it could be a while, but things are in motion. Mom is making noises about being here for another search session relatively soon.
Thanks again to J for spending time talking with him about teaching. He's not the best listener in the world, my dad, but he mentioned today that he appreciated your perspective. Perhaps the steamroller DID take some notice after all, but who can say for sure? (smile, shrug)
Later, darlings.
