That's how my father must have felt, pulling into the driveway and nearly being bowled over by the granddaughters, launching themselves at him. They were ALL OVER him. I really like having my parents around, particularly now that all of us have done some growing and changing in the last 5-10 years.

They're visiting an open house tomorrow, and planning to spend much of Monday house-hunting. They say they just can't stand being so far from the girls. Here, they can be close to the girls, AND a city of reasonable size AND a military base for ongoing medical benefits, etc. "Find me a job," Dad said about an hour ago.

"Shall I apply my will to the matter?" I asked. "You betcher ass," he replied. Hm.

I happen to know where there's a very nice house for sale. It has lots of room for the girls to come visit too...

As a matter of fact, I *did* drive Mom by there yesterday, and it's not quite what they're looking for. But thanks for the thought!
