saffronhareWednesday is Anti-Procrastination Day in my world. I'm failing, and can't really summon the feeling bad about it. :)
ETA: Pandora just played The Boxer, by The Chemical Brothers. Surprisingly groovy bit of electronica/funk/somthin'.
I totally wanna be Celadon Toadstool when I grow up. Or maybe play her in the movie. I've even got the shoulder scar to start with!
Also, I'm noticing some sea-changes in my warrior/armor/weaponry mindset these days. Since I started working with Aengus, really. Some of it will embarrass![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

But I think it's interesting to note that I'm PLAYING with swords and armor -- garbing and coming up with names and contemplating the use of an accent and measuring my thighs and such -- instead of just moving through the world in terms of damage inflicted upon others and taken to myself. Also, I've finally signed up for a bellydancing class. JM said I could probably walk into one of her advanced classes and hold my own, but I need the vocab and basics of a beginner's class for sure. So I'm starting from square one and looking forward to really learning the art from the ground up. Once I get a couple of levels under my belt, she's promised to let me do more DANCING with swords! Very excited about that.
Work on the upstairs bathroom rehab is proceeding nicely. I'll install new hardware and put the repainted doors back on the vanity this evening. There's a mirror up there now, new lightbulbs, and lots more. The effect had Princess PrettySchool saying, "ooooohhhh!" A most satisfying moment. This weekend, we start repainting the woodwork and perhaps applying the wallpaper trim.
