splendid evening

I had a really splendid time at fyreseer and akaashben's party last night. Thank you so much for inviting me over. There were lovely kitties and strawberries and flowers and strawberries and friends. And did I mention the strawberries?

It was great to see some folks I don't get to see enough of -- and meet some new friends too. This little introvert felt extraordinarily welcomed and relaxed. So glad I spent a few hours with all of you.

I'll be honored to carry with me all your stories of women and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. There will be some serious giggling when I add Norma's bead to my hat! Thank you, everyone.

I really enjoyed being there, though I doubt I will ever learn to tell your cats apart. They'll all have to deal with beign called "cupcake," which is also how I refer to people whose names I can't remember. :)

I dig your comfy couch and pillows. ::contented Cancerian sigh:: Husband just now asked about the flowers on the table. Observant, ain't he? (grin) The scent of those lilies is filling the house -- I love them!
