Many thanks to zylch and niveus_tigris for their faboo work on this sweetheart of a bodice knife sitting on my desk right now. Wow. Originally, I'd planned to wear it to Saturday's party at Chez Phoenix nestled between my breasts in a more informal way. But clearly I will now need to borrow a bodice to lace this baby into. See, it's designed not only to nestle oh-so-sweetly, but also to *lace into* the Actual Bodice Infrastructure -- with grommets and lacing and everything! (happy dance, careful of sharp edges)

Also, advance thanks to twixxa, who will be babysitting the little princesses that night. And to fionnabhar, who will be hosting princessboredom for an overnight at The Burrow with dragon_sword. Yay!

ETA: The sheath is black leather -- sea-ray leather, to be precise, and it's got a lovely textured sheen -- so any theoretical loaned bodice would need to work with that, pretty please. Also, the party at Chez Phoenix is not the same thing as the Most Glorious Berfday Escapade organized by Her Pinkness opaljax for the Most Badassest featherynscale. I'd loan you a bodice, but I don't have any left that lace up in a pattern conducive to showing off a dagger. Unless the sheath is wide enough that it could take the place of an entire front panel.

Er. Dunno. It may be that a bodice moving from you to me would sacrifice sufficient tit-space that a front panel could be done without...but I've still got a thuggish ribcage. Hm.

Sort of ironic, isn't it, that training for the 3-Day is reducing my cup size? (grin)
