saffronhareMost of you know about the love-hate relationship I have with sugar. I love it so, but it's very bad for me. Nevermind body weight...I get sick and headachey and can't sleep and can't wake up, etc.
Flashback to Easter Weekend, during which I mainline more Peeps than I can count. Yellow ones, purple ones, chickies and bunnies. I was a sugar fiend. And now I'm waking up with a headache every morning and I know it's only a matter of time before I'm really screwed over.
It's a stupid thing to be self-pitying over, I know. Over the next few days, I'll be recalibrating to what I know is much smarter and more satisfying way to live, but damn. I'm drinking tea without sugar now.
Life is not sweet, and neither am I.
