There were a lot of compelling subject lines explored over the weekend, in a metaphorical sense, so I guess I can live without one this morning. The most pleasant re-discovery was that the world will continue to revolve without my full attention and propulsion, and that certain creatures within it survive just fine when I remove the kid gloves now and again.
Upon leaving the house yesterday afternoon, I saw the first few saffron crocus bulbs opening up to the sun. They were so lovely and bright and brave and sweet. I actually stopped the car and went to say hello before going on with my day. Not quite an omen, but definitely a gift.
The one coherent thought that's stuck with me from yesterday's ritual is this: thank heavens I don't have bad knees.

Also, I may have misread something you said yesterday. Are there things you and I need to discuss about my ritual performance? I'm open to that, just let me know when.

Date: 2006-02-27 04:55 pm (UTC)I'm not so much doing penance today as continuing to work toward alignment of worlds and bodies and consciousnesses. I'm doing everything I need to do to help it along...it's just not a process that tolerates rushing. (sigh) Thankfully, it's one helluva a good ride, and I "ride well."
