- birth control:
Sure, I'm a breeder, and beyond my mathematical population maintenance limit with three kids. But I very much believe in intentional procreation. Until voluntary sterility (another interest) is easy to obtain and easy to reverse at need, then safe and reliable birth control is essential to sexual sovereignty. I bet this will be an interesing paradigm to live with and express once my daughters are old enough to be sexually active. Stay tuned. - competence:
In the hierarchy of life, I'll nearly always place competence above enthusiasm -- and that opinoin tends to hold even in cases of a person being naturally intuitive, improvisational, and eclectic. Inspiration carries one much farther and with better results if one starts with the foundation of knowing one's shit. - ecstatic dance:
Dancing unravels me. Add some heat, a drumbeat and time...and you've found one of the very few ways I ever manage to let go of self-control. Nearly all dance opportunities have the potential to be ecstatic for me -- whether I'm in ritual or just boppin' around the living room, whether it's choreographed or not. - great big beds:
One might think this is about sex, but it's not. It's about sleep. I usually don't like to be touched when I sleep. The bigger the bed, the more likely my husband won't wake up covered in bruises from accidental nighttime contact. I'm very serious about my sleep. Uh-huh. - kemetic unorthodox rat screw:
Haven't played for nearly a year now. It's a ton o'fun with people you trust, even if you end up a bit broken for a while. I cannot be relied upon to remember the rules from one playing to another (as with all card games, really). - my husband:
I should hope I still find him interesting. Ask me again in another 15 years, will you? - pillar of severity:
Tapping into this mindset is a hard-won competence, and an important tool in my set of diversified response strategies. I've given the Tree of Life and pillars nearly three years of on-again, off-again study, and there's still so much more to learn. - sapiosexuality:
The business card says, "I fuck smart people." A deeper explanation is that I require my partner(s) to be evolved and intelligent human beings. It's been the only reliable factor in positive relationships thus far, sexual or otherwise. - the tick:
Cannot wait until these episodes are available on DVD (it'll happen, man). Until then, I try very hard not to use my superpowers on my friends. - vorpal bunnies:
Nothing quite like being simultaneously softer and more ferocious than folks might think at first glance.
