random Sunday-ness

My folks sent some of photos from their trip with Princess B¨oredome back in June. By "some," I mean "eleventy gajillion, but somehow still not all of them." There are several pictures which are sort of traditional in my family ( no photos here, just some commentary )

agrnmn got the family together for ritual and potluck today. (Note: I will be snoozing again Any Minute Now.) They made chicken fingers. At one point, when he came into the bedroom to get something, I asked if there was anything he'd like me to try getting done while they were gone if I happened to be out of bed. He said something to the effect of there being a bit of clean-up to do in the kitchen. Sure, I say, and roll over. A little while ago, I wandered into the kitchen. The stove looks to be Tits Up. Dood. A little clean-up? I don't think I've ever seen the innards of my stove before. Can't wait to hear the story...I just know it's gonna be a good one. Dishes are done and counters are clean, anyway. (grin)
Oh. And a squirrel visited our water fountain. I was amazed to realize that I could tell it was female. Thank the heavens it wasn't male. Okay, back to bed now.
ETA: Awake, awake, awake. Not energetic, but feeling lots better. I swear, I could eat my body weight in Doritos this very moment. (goes hunting for spare change)
