Ritual Raves

I think it's been six or seven years since I've been able to let go and get lost in ritual like I did yesterday. The music and dancing processed me in ways that will be difficult to articulate. All sorts of sensations managed to distract me from the grumpiness that had a good hold on me as I entered. Well staged, folks. Noteworthy: Aside from visual learning, kinesthetic is my strongest learning style (maybe stronger even than visual). This is the sort of work I really enjoy and seldom get to do.

Attention: Wild Hare Protogrove folks!

There's a mistake in the timing mentioned for our Business Meeting tonight. I was asked to review it before it went out, and I didn't -- then or when it landed in my email box -- my apologies for the lack of attention. (Many thanks to zylch for her sharp eyes and sharper questions here.)

The meeting is not 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. It begins at 7 p.m. and should be finished (as in, people leaving) at 9 p.m. if not a bit earlier. Folks arriving too early or lingering too late are likely to be looked at askance by Your Truly. It's a school night, folks. :)

That said, I've heard the weather is turning toward miserable, so we'll have hot tea and cocoa ready to share. I wish I could find my coffee cake recipe...

Please plan on discussing how we might want to approach leadership and by-laws as we move toward applying for our Provisional Charter, as well as our 2006 schedule.
