My boss decided that we should all pretend that my off-site client visit wasn't actually cancelled this afternoon so I could get some comp time on the sly. A lot of shit was flying around while she was out of the office on business the last three days and it would seem I handled it very well on her behalf.

This in no way increases the sense of loyalty I feel to the company, nor my conviction to take over the world with my own business. Call it misplaced entitlement if you will. I'm grateful to be home right now, and it may even grant me a better mood for tonight's meeting.
