If anybody needs to make somebody cry today, please -- oh, please -- let me do it. It'd make me really happy.

In other news, I didn't hear about the fog-related accidents in Detroit until the next day. Sorry I didn't call. Was too exhausted to think most of the time...except for 3 a.m., when I couldn't sleep.

Had great hotel lobby conversations with a German auto engineer who was in town for the Auto Show and was awake with jet lag and some guy who wants me to go work as the marketing director for his winery in California. Good times.

Plus, I saw Shall We Dance? with Richard Gere and JLo. It was a real light-weight of a movie, but I loved watching their asses and Susan Sarandon's boobs. It also made me cry and want to re-learn ballroom dancing. So sue me.

Good to be back.

::Update:: Just had a pleasant conversation with one of my colleagues. See, she and I clashed a bit this morning when I informed her something wasn't going to get done today. She came in an apologized for being snippy. I said thank you, and kept my mouth shut during the silence in which she was clearly waiting for me to apologize in turn. I thanked her, and proceeded to politely remind her that I wasn't changing my mind.

Plus, I'm wearing my new Supergirl shirt with my new pinkish-paisley-ish blazer, which I love.
