Alas and alack. I have missed it.
Oct. 26th, 2005 11:00 pmThat wondrous window, through which an easy sleep exists. It's gone now. I'm on the next wave of energy, and will be looking for trouble until I get sleepy again. Which should be in about two hours, unless I take something sleepifying. Too bad IM isn't working. I could really have some fun then.
I was weak, and gave in to the temptation to just check one thing online as
agrnmn left for work. Now...here I sit...toes chilly, stomach grumbling, wide awake. Soon, I will wander into the bedroom -- not to climb into the sweet, pillow-top embrace of my glorious bed, but to fetch my slippers. So I can wander into the kitchen and get a snack without having my bare feet touch the icky floor in there.
Perhaps I can pick up the generously loaned copy of Mallory and see how long it takes me to fall asleep on this go 'round. Or maybe I'll finish off that bag of marshmallows instead.
We've hit a slippery slope, gentle readers, and my ass is a-sliding. (It's the satin jammies, see.)
