Wearing the brown shawl today.

Usually, I wear it around my hips for dancing. Today, I decided to drape it over my shoulders for a bit of general snazziness (and as cover for aggressive nipples in a thin sweater on a chilly day).

A gift from breathofgold, this shawl is a lovely chocolate brown, with a light and lacy weave. And a lot of fringe. It's very cheering to think of myself as a Brown Sister today, as I write and research like a madwoman.

I wonder: do Brown Sisters wear purple glasses and argyle socks?
