He's a real darling.

That Cowart. He's so thoughtful. He knows how unhappy I get when he has to travel all the time, so he got me a reproduction of the scarf I so admired in the MoMA textiles collection last time we were there. The problem is, I don't think he'd let me wear it!

As pretty as it is, the scarf doesn't quite make up for the work I'll have to do around the house on my own while he's gone, but somehow it's more...I don't know...peaceful not having to worry about his moods. That's mean of me, but I can't help thinking it.

I hope he doesn't want to talk about having another baby again...if he brings home jewelry, I know I'm in trouble. I'd really rather go back to work, now that the kids are all in school.

Why do you worry about his moods? What worries you? How does that manifest?

Sweetie, you think too much.

This is "down the rabbit hole" day, in honor of Lewis Carroll's birthday. I'll post a link to the reference...

That's easy, darling. Wear it while he's gone. We'll never tell.

*giggle* I even knew that. My brain just isn't spun up. :)

Come away with me my darling and you will forget about his moods. I have a theatre for you to run. A jet setting life for you to live. It will just be the two of us and our AKC pedigreed dogs.
