...and so is [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale's dog. Especially with a liberal coating of confectioner's sugar. La Greca is hangin' with us today so [livejournal.com profile] fionnabhar can [allegedly] grade papers and go have dinner with her [alleged] husband. She and Princess Boredom are occupying each other marvelously. So far, we've staged a successful invasion of Costco, gotten the little ones to nap (in separate rooms), made some high-octane cocoa mix (for Yule giving and general enjoyment) and started cleaning some floors.

Initial tests of the cocoa mix indicate it's scrumptious with our without marshmallows, and prepared either with water or milk. I'm considering allowing them to cook pancakes for dinner.

Note for [livejournal.com profile] zylch: The girls took the last two bottles of Virgil's Cream Soda from the fridge. I thought there was some still in the drawer, but I was wrong and didn't want to make them feel bad since they'd just washed the dining room floor. Mea culpa.

Note for [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale: Your dog really needs a bath. I'd intended to tell you this before he became sugar-coated, but there ya go. How do you want to handle this? We can throw him in the tub, you can take him to PetCo or wherever...or you could come over for some wet dog bonding time and bathe him yourself. Let me know within the next couple of days? Naturally, he'll continue to smell like dog -- just with less sticky. (Yes, of course I'm letting him sleep on the bed when he pleases. What kind of a spa vacation would it be otherwise? Heck, I let my husband sleep on the bed when he's smelly...)

You are a brave if not precise scientist as well I see I am glad the formulas came out well and so versatile LOL

I would be delighted to come and take him to the groomers. With the addition of sugar, he is far, far beyond the point at which I am willing to bathe him myself.

I will come get him in the morning, if that suits you guys.

No problem. We'll be here. I'm not certain we have his leash -- do you still have it with you?

Glad that you seem to be doing better :)

I suppose it's alright that the girls drank the last of the sodas. This may mean that they don't get any of the egg nog I was planning on bringing home, though...

(boy, do I love the guys in meat. In exchange for some promised land egg nog spoiled dairy, Charlie and I got steak dinners spoiled meat.)

My alleged husband and I greatly appreciate the gift of time. And I'll have you know I allegedly graded papers in the car on the way. Isn't that romantic?
