Thanks! It was nice to see that area transformed -- and we did it all ourselves. Very glad diermuid has so many contractor tools and skillz these days. :) There are a few other projects we'd like to accomplish before the seasons change too much, and then some lined up for indoor work when it's not so great to be outside.
The kids' weekends are still busy, but I can feel a shift now toward less reliance on *us* when they're at home. We can involve them in our projects or let them pursue their own interests. Very companionable, but requires less parental project management, if that makes sense.
