saffronhareWe had a big day of work today, but the pace was relaxed and the company was excellent. Two coats of paint in the 12' x 11' bedroom, plus a coat of paint on the ceiling. I've got some touch-up to finish on the ceiling tomorrow, and Kira wants to paint the inside of her closet. I think Rowan is going to do some flourishes with gold paint on the walls as well, but none of that should take but half the day tomorrow.
For now, though, clean-up is accomplished and we're admiring our work. Can't wait to dig into the curtain boxes and put things back together again! Girl is delighted with her color choices -- sort of a seafoam green on the walls with a sky blue on the ceiling -- as well as the results. I'm thrilled she and her sister were so involved and helpful. It was really great to have this weekend to devote to the task in a way that wasn't rushed at all, either. YAY all around!
