small creative victory
Apr. 11th, 2012 03:28 pmWe're about to begin a six-month internal auditing process here at work, for some quality certification thingamajig that's a big deal in the industry. This process is intensely boring and the folks who are qualified as internal auditors really hate it. I work in the group that has to champion this shit. So I pitched and got approval to wrap a little bit of a theme around it this year. (They've never done a theme before! I've never thought one was particularly necessary!)
I may have mentioned it before. But it's got executive approval and everything now. We're going to be Indiana Jones. I'll get to send e-cards to internal auditors with the sound effects and send them memos with secret codes and make process flows look like those little maps where the plane flies along the dotted red lines. I'm unreasonably excited about this, and so are the guys leading the effort. Yay!
