saffronhareI'm really submerged in settling here in Gardner this week. WOW. Having a blast with all this integration and organization, but it's starting to take its toll on my body and allergies!
The apartment is 80% empty now, and should be 100% empty within the next 4-5 days (knock on wood). It'll be good not to have my brain living in two different places, if that makes any sense.
Bazillions of trips to Goodwill (and Goodwill equivalents) are happening, and it feels like I'm packing and moving most things with only about six boxes to use -- plus about six laundry baskets and nine cloth grocery bags. I'm alternately obsessive about the smallest details and overwhelmed by the enormity of the task, but that's sort of the way it goes. Just gotta manage the ebb and flow of it all. :)

agrnmn took Fiona Pie for an eye exam and she's gotten glasses! They are fuschia and she loves them. Kira Deara wants glasses very badly now. And, I got word that I'm approved to participate in a LASIK study, so I'll be going under the lasers on June 15th. I think some offerings are called for.
