Found over on the LJ of the fabulous sooj, who writes about somebody reading something they wrote about modern mermaids. (did you follow that?)

...I have some advice for modern mermaids

In other news, agrnmn and I spent some time last night discussing the likely Ajahs the girls would choose, should they grow up to be Aes Sedai.

Fiona Pie is likely to be Green, perhaps because they're the only ones who might allow her to be in the circus. She will require Warders who permit her to do her own stunts. Her Warder should carry a fire extinguisher.

Kira Deara may very well go Brown, taking lots of notes at explosions and natural disasters. Not sure if she might go Gray though, for the value of bending nations to her will. Not that Grays EVER do that.

Rowie might enjoy being Blue. She's got a pretty finely tuned senses of outrage, justice, and fashion.

Yup. Still a geek.
