Adventures in Hybrid Vigor
So, Marley the wonder-dingo is doing much better now. The swelling in her toes has gone down quite a bit, so that now she can nibble on her nails in boredom. Literally.
We are moving past panic over whether she'd survive, past the mind-numbing impact of her medical bills, past the relief that her tail was wagging again...straight into despair that we have to limit her activity for another 5 weeks.
Carrying an 80-pound semi-drugged dog down the back stairs is only slightly easier than carrying an 80-pound alert dog down the back stairs.
::sigh::
