Happiness Report

Today, I am happy for many reasons, one of which is a good night of sleep under my flannel sheets. I *love* the first flannel sheet night of the season. (happy, happy sigh)

The weekend gave lots of opportunity for Teh Happeh, thanks to friends who rock my socks:

• Friday night chatting with fionnabhar, which was (introvertedly speaking) the *perfect* combo of social interaction, cleverness, and couch sitting for my hurty-tired brain. Thank you.


• Saturday was the Birfday Partay for Kira Deara, featuring crazy-good cupcakes from featherynscale, bravely delivered to the OMG mall, along with triadruid and their gift for her. The marshmallow-melty ones that had been blowtorched were a Huge Hit. Also, I think your gift was the one that had her standing up on her chair in excitement. Rawk.


• Saturday night also featured a viewing of Hancock, which I lurved for many bazillions of reasons. It's not a movie I'd mind seeing again, but I don't think I need to own it. NetFlix is going to send me more BSG next, followed by Mamma Mia! -- a combo that might give me thematic whiplash, but I'm looking forward to it. :)
  
• Finally, there was also installation of an (early Christmas present) overhead light, thanks to diermuid, had princessboredom squealing with delight about the 847% increase of light in her room. Yay, tall people wif skillz!


• Sunday, despite starting off with Kira Deara being a bit ill, turned out to be peaceful. I think we all needed a relatively quiet day of ordinary stuff. I even baked bread. (When I say this, I really mean that I put ingredients into the breadmaking machine and plugged it in.)
