minor aggravations, and gratitude

I got to put a slightly less bulky dressing on my finger, which makes typing much easier. Yay! The unfortunate thing is that I'm an unapologetic knuckle-popper. And guess where my stitches are? Yup. Right across the middle knuckle of my finger. No way can I twist and pop that suckah. Driving me nuts, it is.

And the gashes on my butt itch. Thankfully, the itch in the manner that suggests good healing. But there's just no way to actually *scratch* at it -- either politely or in such a way as to avoid breaking the wounds open again. Ack.

Still...a bright and sunshiney day outside my skylight. These aggravations are incredibly small compared to the heartache and challenges many of my friends are going through. So I'm thankful that 'most everything is going okay in my world. Prayers are flying elsewhere, today. (smile)

ETA: Ohmigod. crinkly_things has posted the prettiest rose icons. I simply cannot choose one. Now, THERE'S a problem Sheesh.

Dood... I totally forgot about all that carnage form last week. I've been in a wretched time-warp, it seems like months ago.

Heck, Vacation seems like it didn't even happen. I need to start taking it easy. Like you know, go on vacation or something.
