For once, the constantly changing weather patterns worked in our favor yesterday. The last couple of weekends, we've been digging up a small garden plot in our side yard, and nurturing the seedlings

We finally finished it up and planted them yesterday. About five minutes before I heard the weather report, predicting severe thunderstorms and hail. Ah, well, we thought. And then rejoiced as the ungentle weather veered north of us.

The bunnies may still get most of it. I can hear them now: Carrots? For us?!?! We LOVE carrots!
